By: Sarah Fitzpatrick |

Klausner Technologies announced today that it has filed suit against USA based mobile network operator, MetroPCS over allegations of patent infringement under the Klausner U.S. Visual Voicemail patents.

The lawsuit is based on MetroPCS's provision of visual voicemail products and services allowing subscribers to visually identify and selectively retrieve voice messages and which the company claims infringe the Klausner Technologies Visual Voicemail Patents.

Klausner Technologies has licensed major US mobile carriers for Visual Voicemail and currently has a total of 37 Visual Voicemail patent licensees under its U.S., European, and Asian patents.

The suit has been filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas by the California law firm of Dovel & Luner.
